subject: Space composition is a first semester basic course to help students in practising the the fundamental instruments of architecture like volume, space, material, pattern, rhythm, light, shadow etc. with workshop exercises.
exercise: Space in volume is about creating space in a given volume. Students are to fabricate a 10×10×10 cm cube made of one material leaving negative spaces in them using instruments of pattern and rhythm.
